At our University Stand, I found this great art idea, Visual Communication Design Classmates idea. Every time we get sick, we go to visit the doctor waiting a cure for our illness, at that moment our body has problems, so we don’t have a great mood, so when we see the medicine prescription papers, all in white, we have an empty feeling. So the question is, What happen if we change that, if all the doctor’s prescription, all the medicines information change for good, change for a happy and friendly look, maybe this little change can help us to recover more quickly, This is a great idea, simple but at the same time vanguard.

Ling Tung University part of the exhibition have a lot of animation and videos, at that moment I feel attracted for this video, feel attracted for the way they use the camera, the angles they used, every cut, every scene, make me feel like I was inside the plot, like a real life event. At that moment I already feel impressed for this video, but that was not the end, for my surprise, in the middle of the plot, the film change to 2D animation, a great surprise, great chose of colors, through the video, mixing between the film and the animation, making a perfect match for the viewer.

This is also a Ling Tung University animation, their theme was “The Main Crisis” begin to believe, at first this was not a spectacular animation, you would think is like other, including me, but the message they give to us, that this is our planet, that we need to take care of him, that we need to reconsider our acts, otherwise the mother earth will turn against us. For me the most important part was the earth planet scene, how he involve, how they humans build and build, changing the earth look, maybe not for forever; they animate this part very well, the picture have that exactly part, great job.

Rocy Screw Chair is a product design of Tainan University of technology, choosing Rocy for his simple look but at the same time practical uses. We know that the children’s likes to play every day, especially with their toys, and we know that most of the time, they create a mess around the house. That is the strength of this product, is not a normal chair, in the middle of the chair have an empty space, for storage, and the best part is that when you want to open this storage, you also can graduate the height of the chair for your convenience. Also they used soft material, thinking in the safety of their users.

Just the mere fact of see their stunning statuettes forms, for their detailed forms, I give this art pieces a try, so ask the creators why they this statuettes, what are their motivation, I could not imagine their real reasons, so they explain to me, they want to show us, all the normal and in some cases traditional works that the young Taiwanese don’t want to perform, we are in a changing world, and this types of workers are gradually disappearing. From Fish men to carpenter, from gas dealer to mine worker, they all are good works, maybe the pay are not so good, but they are needed.

Taiwan Aunts are a set of statuettes representing the daily works of this sacrificed old women in Taiwan society, you can watch them everywhere, in the farms, students traffic officer, cleaning, in beauty salons, cooking, and so on. I think their looks are very funny, very expressive, they do a great job. And one of the statuettes, the aunt carrying a baby looks like my landlord, the same face lol.

Walking around I found this peculiar animation. Imagine what will happen if an innocent grandma and a super modern refrigerator meet each other, what will be the result. Watching this old grandma interacting with this ultra modern refrigerator, his old cliches and funny scenes will make you analyze in your own aging conflict. Other aspect that I like about this animation was his advertisement, his poster, his name card, the way they manage their own stand, all the accessories was really great, they also have chairs for you to seat, and all the explanation was clearly, they really know how to sell their ideas, and they do it very well.

“To Represent The Aura of Death” is a animation of the Southern Taiwan University of Technology, their stand was a little small, and in some way dark, they have a lot of animations, walking around, watching the monitors, found one that have some peculiar colors, I don’t understand their story, their designer at not there at that moment, but that is not matter, for me this is a great abstract piece of animation, how the use the primary colors, how they mix it with their drama music, and the most important, hoe they create from so simple idea, a so enigmatic atmosphere.

Third Leg Of the walking cane chair is a Industrial Design work of the Chaoyang University of Technology, this is a hybrid between a cane and a resting chair, I thing the more eldest people will appreciate this design, my grandma will love this cane, and in Taiwan that have so many persons, Third Leg will save your life if you are in a line up, as simple as that.

Open A New Season is a Furniture Design of the Ming Chuan University, the first time I saw this sofa, I though why is so strange, why they use so many fabric scraps, so I ask them why , and their answer was so interesting . This Sofa have 365 different pieces of fabric scraps, everyday of the year you can change for a new scraps, for the persons that need some changing factors in their life, but that is not enough, they divide the 365 scraps in 4 groups, each group represent a season of the yeas, from dark blue colors of the winter to yellow white colors of the spring, form pink colors of the summer to brown colors of the autumn.
